The Granbazán winery is the first fruit of the Agro de Bazán oenological project, which began in 1980.
The large and scientific plantation of albariño grapes carried out on the Tremoedo estate (Vilanova de Arousa, Pontevedra), became a model and example to follow for many farms in the area.
At the end of the twentieth century, the Albariño wine was already a myth thanks both to the song of the poets and the thirst and faith of the Cambadeses. Wines made from the albariño grape were highly valued and were only drunk on special occasions.

Bodegas Martín Códax was founded in 1986 and takes its name from the most famous Galician troubadour, whose cantigas, the oldest in Galician-Portuguese history, are still preserved, with the original music, in which love and the sea that bathes our coasts are sung.
