A route of several hours by the mountain, in the shade of the trees following the course of the river. Among the attractions of this route is an old factory, water mills and small rapids where you can bathe. This route is very suitable for very hot days. The walk takes place along the banks of the river and most of the time in the shade. A good way to stay cool in summer.

O SALNESThe Region of Caldas also known as Territory of the Valleys of the Ulla-Umia, for being surrounded by these two rivers, is constituted by 7 municipalities: Caldas de Reis, Catoira, Cuntis, Moraña , Pontecesures, Portas and Valga.
It is surrounded by the Xesteiras, Xiabre and Acibal mountains, from which there are unbeatable views of the region.
The activity of the subsoil of the region has given place to that in two of the municipalities have thermal sources with medicinal properties: Caldas de Reis and Cuntis.

ISLET OF AREOSO
Discover the “Galician Caribbean” in the heart of the Arousa Estuary. The Islet of Areoso is a protected natural area, located to the north of A Illa de Arousa, to which it belongs. It is an islet of almost 9 hectares, low and composed almost entirely of fine sand, so it has its characteristic appearance of a dune emerged from the sea, especially its northern part, where a tongue of sand advances.
SAN VICENTE DEL MAR
It is a place in the region of O Salnés, province of Pontevedra, Galicia. Located in the peninsula of O Grove, which was originally an island, now joined to the peninsula of Salnés by the sea and winds of the southwest. Progressively the isthmus of the beach of La Lanzada has been created that reaches a maximum of two kilometers wide by about four in length. Behind the sandy ground and the rich associated dune system extends a wide enclosure of mud, sandy bottoms and meadows of marine vegetation.
BEACH TO LANZADA
One of the pioneering beaches in wearing the Blue Flag of Europe’s Clean Seas. There are more than 2 km of open sea sand and has a wooden promenade that allows us to oxygenate the body and enliven the spirit at any time of year. It faces south and its sand is white and fine.
SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
30 kms from our house is the city of Santiago de Compostela, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1985, considering that to its urban beauty and monumental integrity were added the deep echoes of its spiritual significance as an apostolic sanctuary and destination of the most important religious and cultural movement of the Middle Ages: the pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago, The Way.
FEFIÑANES SQUARE
Cambados has a Historic Site that was declared of Cultural Interest. It is one of the best restored in Galicia. The Cambades heritage shows off pazos and noble houses, sculptures designed by great artists and pieces of popular art, cobbled squares and streets, a pleasure for those who love art and history.
CÍES ISLANDS
These islands, Cortegada, Sálvora, Ons and Cíes that form the Maritime Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia, embellish the marine landscape with the magic of its cliffs.
The Cíes Islands are located on Rodas Beach, the most beautiful beach in the world, according to the British newspaper The Guardian.
FISTERRA
Cape Finisterre, or Fisterra, is the place where the ancient Greeks and Romans placed the End of the World. Beyond its horizon was a terrifying abyss inhabited by all sorts of legendary monsters who anxiously awaited the fall of the unwary sailors.
CORRUBEDO DUNES
The great mobile dune is the attraction. With more than 1 km long, about 250 m wide and 20 m high, the mobile dune of Corrubedo imposes itself from a distance, white like a queen of sand, in this natural park which is the most visited in Galicia, with almost 300,000 people a year.
RÍA DE BAROSA NATURAL PARK
The Barosa River Natural Park is an ethnographic complex made up of 17 water mills set in a privileged natural environment. Located in the town hall of Barro, next to the N-550, 14 km from Pontevedra and 6 km from Caldas de Reis, and just over half an hour from both Vigo and Santiago de Compostela is this beautiful spot.
